Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Bloomington

Price way too high. Gouging guests makes me think less of Marriott.

It was a modern hotel, brilliant base for shopping in Bloomington. Attentive staff, offered us wake up service and ironing. Location: the venue was just off several restaurants including a nice Sushi place and a Cheddars, Bloomington, and several eateries. The private parking was on site, great service. The place was reasonably priced.

Bed was comfy. Staff was nice.

Bad smell on entering hotel lobby. Our room smelled and felt damp. After settling in we noticed lots of small flies everywhere! My asthma was kicking up, and I looked closer at carpet. Pet hair! This is a non pet hotel. This is why we chose it. We called and changed room. Second room was fine. I think some reduction of price should have been given for us needing to change rooms after undressing and unpacking.

Short, sweet, and to the point

The rooms weresuper clean and cozy, though the decor felt a bit dated. Staff were friendly. Breakfast offered good variety, but the dining area gets crowded. Location was handy for local attractions. A solid option for a decent stay!

Felt hotel was not a good value for cost. Room too small only thing to sit on is bed and my back hurt by morning. The one chair in room not very comfortable or large.

great access to downtown and nearby parks for weekend walks

I loved how close we were to both the Indiana University campus and the fun attractions like the WonderLab. Although some hotel staff were friendly, the space felt a bit cramped and could use better layout signage.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast options were quite basic, and the outdated bathroom amenities were disappointing. It could benefit from some updates, but it served my needs well during the visit.

Pool too small with too many families. We were looking forward to using it but too noisy and crowded.

The staff was very accommodating. We also enjoyed the location of the hotel, and the ability to order in from restaurants in the area that were a college staple to us. My boyfriend loved the breakfast, and the hotel on the whole was great.

I thought that the rooms could have been a little more cleanly. The chair had a stain on it, and the tub had some rings around it. The staff was very accommodating though.

Family with children, decent stay

The beds were super comfy, like laying on a cloud, and the staff? They were friendly enough that it almost was like we knew each other. The breakfast options were amazing too, way better than I expected.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but you know, it still worked out.

The beds at fairfield inn were super comfortable, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. It's conveniently located close to many restaurants and just a hop away from the hilly 100 bicycle ride. The indoor pool was a nice bonus to relax after a day out. Plus, the staff were really nice and accommodating.

It was a great option for a weekend trip in Bloomington with fantastic value for money. The rooms were clean, and there were always snacks ready for us. Make sure to check out the friendly staff.
